Dragon Ball Fighter Z (Ps4) Review
Dragon Ball Z fighting games have always been good -- from the Budokai series to the more recent Xenoverse titles -- they have always been enjoyable. But they have never struck that sweet-spot to deliver truly great experiences. That is no longer the situation. Dragon Ball FighterZ is the most polished and tightest DBZ adventure to date, delivering a fighting game that's as fun and accessible since the TV show, while also getting enough depth to pleased franchise fans.
The reason that most of those Dragon Ball match felt slightly gritty, is that preceding titles dropped short on shooting the speed and freneticism of the tv series. Thankfully, Arc System Works, a new programmer to the franchise have attracted their combating pedigree into the table.
The outcome is something which beautifully recreates what we have come to love in the series, but in a structured package that is not overpowering or that may spark an visual seizure. The fighting system is simplified, whereby special powered-up moves (such as Goku's Kamehameha or Vegeta's Big Bang Attack) are all done the same way, rather than each character having their own complex move-set. The good thing about this is to create an adventure where players can jump from fighter to fighter effortlessly (it's possible to select three characters per battle which may be chance throughout the fight); also as building a fighting game that is not as much about learning every character's tricks and moves as it is about knowing all the moves and rather strategising about when to utilize them. for reading more trending and fun stuff about Dragon Ball check here: Dragon Ball Infinite
